For the 2007 Championships, the Association decided to design and purchase its own tables and purchase seventy (70) target changers. Five suppliers were asked to quote for the changers, of which four eventually sent in a quote.

As most of the cost for the changers was to be funded by a Grant from the Sports Council for Wales, the Association was duty-bound to accept the cheapest quote, from Litts of Newport, for Häring LP5 changers.

The Häring lamp assembly was not supplied with bulbs, so the Association decided on 20W low-energy spiral bulbs. The black lamp shades were painted grey for the 2008 Championships and were then painted light green, to match the target background, for the 2009 Championships.

Megalink electronic targets were introduced for the Olympic Finals at the 2008 Championships.

North Wales Open Airgun

The 2009 North Wales Airgun competition, was held at Ellesmere College, Ellesmere, Shropshire, over the weekend of 28th and 29th March 2009.
