Welsh Airgun 2017

The meeting will be held from Friday 13th October 2017 to Sunday 15th October 2017, with pre-event training available on Thursday 12th October 2017, 1pm to 4.40pm.

The Jubilee Hall will be used for Olympic Finals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Entries open to International competitors on 5th July 2017 and then opened to all competitors on 19th July 2017, with a nominal closure date for entries on 30th September 2017.

As of 23rd July 2017, Mens Pistol is full, and as of 6th September 2017, Mens Rifle is full - we will be maintaining a waiting list, if competitors are happy to go the list.

Places still available on Womens Pistol and Womens Rifle.

Some rooms have become available at SWNC during the period of the meeting. They are twin rooms and can be available for £30 per person per night for B & B. Should anyone still require accommodation, please contact paulgumn@mac.com who can give you further information. They will be allocated on a first come basis.

Research opportunity  (Added 24th September 2017)

Peter Allen (Anglia Ruskin University) and Dr Donghyun Ryu of (Bangor University) are conducting research into shooting for the visually impaired.

Peter is looking for volunteers to undertake his test, over some 45 minutes, over the weekend of the 2017 Welsh Airgun. Testing will take place in the 10m High Performance range at Sophia Gardens.
